Q: Is this pump reversible? For example it can reverse flow based on the polarity of the current delivered to the pump?

 

A: The DC motor is reversible, the issue comes when you factor in the pump. Reversing as a ‘one off’ to resolve a problem or emergency will not really be a problem. However, reversing the pump as a regular part of the application will result in excessive vane wear causing a loss of performance.
